Overall it was sooooooo much fun and it was one of those simple things that I oh so love. In each of the notes I put a little quote by Winnie the Pooh that reads:

Allylala- So cool, I have posted a few of the pix on BalloonRelelase.blogspot.com, and I will also put them on Laid Back Think Tank. Cool release, very beautiful blue day, often I have to let mine go at night which is mysterious looking but they quickly drift into the darkness.
Of course if they are ever found let me know so I can post the results!

what a beautiful and fun thing to do! i love balloons and the ideas of sending a little note and it ending up somewhere is awesome. i think i just might try this. i remember one of my favorite movies as a kid was "The Red Balloon". i just love that movie. talk to you soon!
